About Shaykh Yunus
Shaykh Yunus Dudhwala is an experienced scholar and NHS chaplain, known for his work in chaplaincy, bereavement support, community outreach, halal certification and providing guidance to individuals and families.
Alongside his chaplaincy role, he is actively involved in a number of national and community initiatives, including serving as Chair of the Halal Monitoring Committee and contributing to faith-based guidance in healthcare, ethics, and bereavement support. He has also spent many years guiding and teaching face to face and online, on different platforms including Islamic courses on Al Balagh Academy, and delivering Hajj seminars, helping pilgrims understand and perform the sacred journey with clarity and confidence.
He regularly delivers Jummah khutbahs and through his teaching, talks, writing, and community work, he aims to make Islamic knowledge practical, relevant, and rooted in compassion, bridging traditional scholarship with the realities of modern life.
